What an amazing day it was today! My last post left off at the end of the summer before middle school started. I was going to keep up with telling everything in order, but as I read it back to myself, it is getting a bit long and maybe boring for anyone who has not lived through this and I now need to shout out that today was incredible! I will get back to the start of middle school later and all that led up to today.
After 3 weeks of intense, almost daily, exposure therapy at the Univ. of Miami I am finally seeing my girl get better! After the worst few weeks of our lives so far, we finally had a great day.
We went to the beach, went to 3 different places to eat, didn't wash hands 5000 times. AND, the biggest event to finish off the day was when we even saw vomit on the sidewalk and she didn't freak out! Real life exposure therapy! I am so proud of her, and ourselves, for getting through these past few weeks.
